DMV Road Tests
Vertex Driving School offers DMV-approved road test for both teen and adult drivers in a professional and convenient testing environment.
- By Appointment Only. (appointments must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.)
- Cost $100 (A PAYMENT LINK WILL BE SENT TO YOU ONCE APPOINTMENT IS APPROVED).
- Location: Vertex Driving School – 2300 Myron Dr., Raleigh, NC 27607.
- Students will use Vertex Driving School vehicle for the road test.
- Students must meet eligibility requirements set by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles.
- Students who pass will receive the required documentation to take to the DMV to complete the final licensing process.
- If a student does not pass the road test, they may reschedule another test after 48 hours.
- Appointment must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
What to Bring on Test Day
Adult Drivers (18 and Older):
- A valid physical North Carolina Learner’s permit issued by the North Carolina Division of Motor Vehicles.
Teen Drivers (Ages 16-17):
- A valid physical North Carolina learner’s permit.
- A parent or guardian, who is your supervising driver must be present at the time of the road test.
Important:
- Students will not be allowed to test without their physical learner’s permit, and teen drivers(ages 16-17) must have their supervising driver present at the time of testing.
