My daughter absolutely enjoyed taking this driving course with Mr. Kirby and staff. Everyone was a joy to work with. My daughter felt very comfortable with everyone. She was well informed and instructed. They really take the time to teach and train new drivers properly. They are very thorough! I will suggest this driving school to anyone!

Kirby taught me how to drive with his lessons. He was patient and calming. I had fun with him while learning, which is important. Also, he picked me up from my house and was really flexible. I took the driving test with him and passed it first try. Thank you Kirby!

I was referred to Vertex Driving School through a friend as an alternative to the DMV for my teenage son to take his driving test. I was able to book an appointment exactly when I needed it, and as soon as it was booked, Kirby, one of the instructors, reached out with all the pertinent details. As the test day got closer, Kirby reached out again with a few helpful tips and reminders along with details on exactly where to meet on the day. The entire process was seamless. I highly recommend them.

Mr. Kirby is an excellent and professional driving instructor. As someone with limited driving experience, I took three 2-hour lessons with him to prepare for the road test.
In our first lesson, he explained everything on the road test and what to expect on the road using demonstrations, hand gestures, and printed diagrams. We started in quiet residential areas with almost no cars, progressed to roads with light traffic, then heavy traffic, and we even safely managed to drive on the freeway in our last lesson.
Throughout every single minute of my driving, he continuously and patiently pointed out my mistakes and explained how to improve. I not only drove further each time but also became more confident and really enjoyed it. After all the lessons, I took a DMV-certified road test at the driving school using the exact car I had been practicing in, and I am really happy that I passed the test on my first try.
Mr. Kirby is passionate and patient, he is easy to communicate with and very responsive to messages, and he really wants his students to feel comfortable behind the wheel. I truly appreciate his teaching. I therefore strongly recommend Vertex Driving School and Mr. Kirby to anyone who wants to prepare for their road test and learn how to become a safe driver.

I had a great experience with Vertex Driving School. Kirby was my instructor and he really helped me a lot. I came in never having driven a car before, and after the first day I already understood the basics way better than I expected.
After a few more days, I felt a lot more confident driving and was able to avoid mistakes that probably would’ve made me nervous before. Kirby explained things in a way that was easy to understand, held me accountable, and made sure I actually understood what I was doing instead of just telling me what to do.
Thanks to him, I was able to get my license. I definitely recommend Vertex Driving School, especially if you’re brand new to driving or nervous about learning.

I had a great experience with this driving school from start to finish. As someone with absolutely no prior driving experience, I was quite nervous in the beginning, but my instructor, Donald Kirby made all the difference. He was very patient, calm, and truly skilled at teaching. He explained everything clearly and never rushed the process, which helped me build confidence behind the wheel step by step.
I enrolled in their 10-hour program, and it was very well structured and practical. Each session helped me improve, and by the end of it, I felt much more comfortable and prepared to drive independently.
I also took my road test through them, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I was able to pass my road test thanks to the quality of their classes and the confidence my instructor helped me build.
I highly recommend this driving school to anyone, especially beginners who are looking for a patient and supportive instructor!

My name is Bhawana Acharya, and before starting lessons with Kirby, I had absolutely no driving experience—I had never even put my hands on the steering wheel. I chose the 14-hour driving package, and every hour was extremely well utilized. Kirby is very patient, calm, and excellent at teaching beginners from the ground up.
He explained everything step by step, from basic steering and control to complex skills like parking, lane changes, and road awareness. His techniques are easy to follow and very effective. I carefully followed all of his instructions, especially for parking and test-specific maneuvers, and it made a big difference.

Mr. Kirby is the most amazing driving instructor. He was patient, calm and understanding with our son and instilled good habits for real-world driving. He tailored his teaching to our son’s needs and learning pace and helped him build confidence and competence.
Mr. Kirby is very professional and at the end of each lesson, he provided us with useful feedback on the specific skills we needed work on. Our son became a competent driver and passed his road test on the first try.

Donald Kirby is an excellent driving instructor. He’s thoughtful and down-to-earth. His warm nature put my teen right at ease. Upon returning from each lesson, he shared the strengths he saw and areas that need work, offering suggestions for honing those skills. My son’s confidence grew each time they went out. He looked forward to the lessons and asked me to let Mr. Kirby know when he passed the driving test. Glad we found such a great instructor.

Even though we only had a two-hour session, I learned so much in that short time — especially things that will help me pass my driving test when I go to the DMV. Talk about well worth your money ! I recently had driving lessons with Mr. Kirby in hopes that I can get more comfortable with driving and eventually pass my drivings test to get my license. And that’s exactly what happened! As someone who is older it feels less and less encouraging to do things that you felt you should’ve learnt a little earlier in life but let me tell you just go for it ! It’s never too late and when you have such an amazing instructor like Kirby the process is 100% easier.
